Editorial

It has been three years since the Editorial Board of Dimensi Teknik Sipil (DTS) decided to publish fully in English and become The Civil Engineering Dimension (CED). A lot has happened in the three years, among others: for the fourth time continuously CED is accredited by the Director General of Higher Education (DGHE). CED also decided to be an open access journal and is now listed in bibliography indices such as: Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ.org), Getcited.org, and Oaister.org. CED can be harvested by search engines such as: Google Scholar, Yahoo and Bing. Besides Thomson-Gale, CED fulltext is now also available in EBSCO journal data-base. It is hoped that CED’s visibility will
increased tremendously.

In this issue the Editorial Board regrets that one paper titled: Modeling Of Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (Ates) Using Heat And Solute Transport In 3D (H3STD) published in the CED vol 11, no 2, September 2009, pp. 119-125 has to be retracted due to similarities with Mr. Thomas Kent Wiezel unpublished thesis titled : Numerical  Modeling of Thermal Front Movement  at an Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage Test Site, submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of M.A.Sc., at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
